Pit Crew

The Sumter Cruisers Pit Crew had to go into action at the Bethesda UMC Car
Show on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009.  Mark's A Model thru a big chunk of tread
out of its right rear tire on the trip to Cades, SC.  So the "Pit Crew" went
into action.  Robert Hayes is the "Crew Chief", Mark Hodges is the "Driver"
as well as the 1st assistant "Tire Changer" , Floyd McLeod is the "Jack Man"
and 2nd assistant "Tire Changer", and Dave McDuffie is the "Lug Man".  I
don't think they will make any of the NASCAR teams with a time of
approximately 20 minutes.

Many thanks to a dedicated and talented pit crew!  We may not be the fastest
crew, but we got the job done and finished "the race" home without any
additional problems.  (Four new tires are on their way from Coker Tire in
Tennessee!!!) As most of you know, whenever Robert and I have "Annabelle" (my
Model A) out and about, there is always some sort of adventure!  Thanks again
to all who helped me on Saturday! Sumter Cruisers are the best!!!! :-)
